**Date Change from Catalog: 4 Thursdays November 14, 21 December 5, 12**Have basic sewing skills and want to try quilting, but not sure where to start? Discover the ease, delight, and addiction of quilting! Complete a four panel quilt to use as a wall hanging, table topper or doll quilt. Learn the skills of fabric selection, chain piecing, pressing, pinning, free-motion quilting, and binding. *Bring your sewing machine and manual and 4-6 half yards of varied fabric that looks good together. Basic sewing skills and comfort in operating your machine.
Quilting Class - Students will need to bring their own sewing machine to class they also must have had a beginning sewing class or be able to use their machine with confidence. Bring your own basic sewing supplies such as natural or white thread,scissors, pins and pins and needles, and 4 to 6 1/4 yard assorted complimentary fabrics plus 1 yard complimentary solid. If the student has a healing cutting board and 4 by 24 in ruler they should bring that with them the first week.
