Have you ever tried growing your own vegetables? Don’t worry about the months of waiting, because in this class in just a couple hours you can have your very own peas in a pod and carrots! While creating these two vegetable charms, learn the roots of polymer clay from artist Ruth Hillman, as well as tips and tricks that will help you to continue creating on your own. After molding these tiny works of art, turn them into a handcrafted (by you!) beaded necklace. Take some time to learn something new and get some peas and quiet! Materials included. Ages 10 & up. Children under 13 must have adult present.
|Course Fee (Basic)||Charms Only||$ 29.00|
|Course Fee (Alternate)||Charms + Necklace||$ 35.00|

Ruth HillmanHello my name is Ruth Hillman and I love teaching art! I love it so much that I got my bachelors degree in art education so I could teach humans how to add more creativity and fun to the world. In addition to teaching, I run a small business as That Weird Art Girl creating clay charms that I turn into jewelry and sell as fashionable works of art! Even though creating tiny sculptures next to my two cats is more than I could ask for, I want to make a difference in the world. If you get the chance, I would love it if you could join one of my classes so I can share my love for polymer clay (and dad jokes) with you!
