Camp Invention® is a nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life for 1st-6th graders!
2024's brand-new program will illuminate imaginations, inspire curiosity and help kids build essential STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) skills through collaboration and problem solving. Campers will design, invent, and explore hands-on challenges and open-ended adventures designed to unlock creativity and help them shine their brightest!
Campers will star as game show contestants in Prototyping Studio and collaborate together in prototyping challenges, embark on an epic global operation to explore and solve water challenges while personalizing their own light-up robotic Lab-on-Wheels, learn about biophysics, optics and electrical engineering while creating a one of a kind Glow Box, and become innovative all-stars with In the Game as they engineer a light-up ball game and explore the physics of motion!

Nicole Highby
My name is Nicole Highby. I am a first-grade teacher here in Sioux Falls and have been teaching for 11 years! I have a passion for STEAM and technology! I am also a soccer coach, I volunteer at Horse Power and am an avid quilter. My family and I live in the country and have great passion for animals and all things outdoors. We love to camp, hike, kayak, ride bike, and we all play soccer!
