Prequisite of Woodturning 101 Class or equivalent experience
Try your newly aquired woodturning skill at bangle-style bracelets or one of a kind rings! Because wood is a natural product, this balanced bracelet or ring will have a wonderful texture! Learn faceplate turning with the grain running perpendicular to the lathe bed, along with the use of standard bowl gouge and parting tools. Methods of personalizing your bracelets using detailing tools, wood burning, inlays, gems, multiple wood species, or segmented turnings will be discussed. Experience in Woodturning 101 or equivalent necessary. Ages 13 and up with participating adult.
