By the end of the class you will have a detailed map to navigate Chinese tea, teaware and culture, and will even have picked up a few crucial Chinese words that will surely come in handy as you develop your connoisseurship. Tasting will include historically relevant Chinese teas in different genres and you will go home with a traditional tea-stuffed tangerine to enjoy. Ages 16 & up.
**This class is designed for those who’ve already learned the basics of Camellia Sinensis tea (ot taken a basic tea class from Pauliina Parris/Shall We Tea prior). If that’s not you, please take the Guided Journey for Beginners first!

I am a certified Tea Sommelier, world traveler and East Asia specialist who spent almost a decade living in Korea and China. I love pure, traditionally crafted single origin tea, which to me is like travel in a cup – either to a distant land, or deeper within. As a recent transplant to South Dakota, I am excited to launch my new business – Shall We Tea – and offer tea education, tea tastings and tea meditation to a growing community of tea lovers in Sioux Falls!
