You don’t need to be a historian to record a loved one’s history, and you don’t need to be a writer or designer to produce and print your own memoir. This one-session class will give you the skills and action plan to record your own life histories and pass them down as heirlooms for future generations. We’ll focus on the differences between oral histories, life histories and memoirs; how to find a focus and ask the right questions of your subject; and how to turn raw interviews or memories into a readable story or watchable video.
