The Daughters of Norway will guide you through the tradition of Norwegian lefse making. Learn the tools including griddles, ricers, and lefse sticks; as well as ingredients needed (there are many family recipes and preferences) to create this heritage-rich, traditional treat. Roll your dough perfectly, flip with the traditional lefse stick, and roll or fold with your toppings. Butter, sugar, cinnamon ... what's your favorite? Leave with freshly made lefse in hand and a recipe booklet for lefse and other Scandinavian treats. Additional Scandinavian treat samplings will be offered during class!
