Gather your friends to embark on this mystical adventure! We’ll steer our chartered bus into Omaha for a little Old Market lunch and perusing, and then proceed to the stunningly ornate Omaha Orpheum Theater matinee of the Broadway Musical production of Moulin Rouge!

Moulin Rouge! The Musical is the winner of 10 Tony Awards® — including Best Musical!

Enter a world of splendor and romance, of eye-popping excess, of glitz, grandeur, and glory! Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film comes to life onstage, remixed in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. A celebration of Truth, Beauty, Freedom, and — above all — Love, Moulin Rouge! is more than a musical — it is a state of mind.

Set in Montmartre Quarter of Paris, France, at the turn of the century, a world of indulgent beauty and unparalleled extravagance, of Bohemians and aristocrats, of boulevardiers and mademoiselles, Moulin Rouge! The Musical tells the fictional story of an ambitious, lovesick writer, Christian, and a dazzling, entrancing chanteuse, Satine. Their lives collide at the Moulin Rouge with its many characters, including the host Harold Zidler, the brilliant and starving artist Toulouse-Lautrec, the greatest tango dancerand gigoloin all of Paris, Santiago; the tempting Nini; and The Duke of Monroth, the wealthy and entitled patron of the club who thinks he can buy anything he wants...including love.

Board the motorcoach at IPC with a light breakfast and coffee and your ticket! Enjoy lunch in Old Market and stroll on your own (or join a prebooked group reservation lunch with your choice of entrees, salad bar, and beverage at an Old Market popular italian restaurant for $20) until it’s time to regroup and journey to the breathtakingly ornate and exquisite Orpheum Theater. After, the bus will pick you up at the front door of the theater and head home, making a quick dinner-on-your-own road trip style stop, then returning you to your car at IPC, happy, and soul-fed with wonder and adventure. Ages 18 & up or 14-17 with a participating adult. Unused tickets are non-refundable.
