Have basic sewing skills and want to try quilting, but not sure where to start? Discover the ease, delight and addiction of quilting! Complete an 18" rail fence pattern quilt to use as a table topper, wall hanging, baby blanket or doll quilt. Learn the skills of fabric selection, chain piecing, pressing, pinning, free-motion quilting, and binding. A list of materials will be provided prior to class. Basic sewing skills and comfort in operating your machine, or completion of Sew On & Sew Forth, are required. Bring your own sewing machine and manual.

Anna (Maifeld) Anderson began crocheting rag rugs years ago as a way to use up fabric scraps and old clothing. She now sells her rugs on her Etsy shop "HeartlandHandmadeSD". You can see more of her rugs on her website annasews.net. She and her family live on a hobby farm near Sioux Falls and enjoy incorporating old time crafts with homeschooling, gardening, and animals.
