Krissy Blunck hold degrees in Orchestral Conducting (M.M., 2019), Music Education (B.A., 2010), and Music Arts (B.A., 2008). Before her graduate studies, Ms. Blunck taught band and choir in the South Dakota public school system for five years. A lifelong musician, Ms. Blunck has been involved in music in one way or another from the age of five! Her instrumental background includes clarinet, saxophone, piano, double bass, and guitar. Currently, she performs as co-lead singer and rhythm guitarist with the Prairie Thunder Band, a country music group she co-founded in 2017. An active performance schedule allows her to share her love of (country) music with people throughout southeast South Dakota, northeast Nebraska, and western and central Iowa!
