Red Apple Workshops!
Sioux Falls School District offers additional staff development through their Red Apple Workshops. Red Apple Workshops are available for registration to current employees at a discounted rate of $40 per college credit. Non-employees may register for workshops that are open to non-employees at the rate of $60 per college credit. Red Apple Workshops are non-profit. Registration fees pay the workshop instructors. Classes must have an enrollment of at least 20 participants to run.
Many Red Apple Workshops offer Continuing Education Credit Hours (CECH) at no additional costs. Furthermore, many classes offer college credit for an additional payment of $45 per college credit. Sioux Falls School District partners with Augustana University & the University of Sioux Falls.
Participants must register with Red Apple Workshops before registering with the university. Participants may select either CECH or College credit, but they cannot receive both.
Check the class website to determine whether CECH and or college credit is available for the class.
Creating a Red Apple Account with ACEware
All participants must register for a free account with the ACEware Staff Development Software prior to signing up for any Red Apple Workshop.
Please use your state email address if you have one; otherwise use your personal email.
By using ACEware, each participant can track his/her staff development throughout the year and receive e-mail alerts of upcoming classes/workshops that are in his/her interest areas.
